Netflix UK to Screen CGI Harlock and Knights of Sidonia

Sidonia from July 4, Harlock from August 1.
On its twitter feed, Netflix UK and Ireland announced, "Leiji Matsumoto's legendary hero sets sail on August 1st for Netflix in Harlock: Space Pirate." The accompanying picture is from the 2013 CGI version of the anime Space Pirate Captain Harlock (pictured right). The feature film had been also due to screen as part of the Anime Weekend at London's BFI Southbank, before this screening was cancelled.
Earlier in May, Netflix also confirmed that it would be screening the mecha series Knights of Sidonia (pictured left) from July 4. The series is currently being broadcast in Japan.
