Gravitation Boys-Love Manga Listed With New Series

The e-hon retailer is currently listing that Maki Murakami will launch a new Gravitation series in the 34th issue of Gentosha's Comic Spica magazine on July 28. The description lists that the new manga will be titled Shindou-ke no Jijō (The Shindou Household's Circumstances).

Murakami originally published the manga as a 32-page one-shot (pictured at right) in the 32nd issue of the same magazine on May 28. The "cynical slapstick comedy" one-shot follows the troubles of Rikuto Shindou and his "mother," Shuichi Shindou. Rikuto has grown up without many friends because they always call him a liar after finding out his "mother" is actually a man. Riku is now in high school, and he is freaking out because his mother is supposed to come to school tomorrow for an interview with his teacher. Shuichi then decides to crossdress for the interview.

Murakami relaunched her Kanpai! (Kimi no Unaji ni Kanpai!) manga series in Comic Spica in 2011 as Kimi no Unaji ni Kanpai! R. One volume was released in 2012, and it is not currently listed as running in the magazine.

She resumed her Gravitation EX boys-love manga in Gentosha's online magazine Web Spica in 2011, and Gentosha released the second compiled volume later that year.

Tokyopop published the first Kimi no Unaji ni Kanpai! manga series under the name Kanpai!, and it also published Gravitation and the first volume of Gravitation EX. ADV Manga published part of Murakami's Gamerz Heaven.
