Cyclops Shōjo Saipū Manga to End in 2 More Chapters

Yasu Tora's 4-panel gag comedy inspired web anime last year

This year's 41st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine is announcing on Thursday that Yasu Tora's four-panel comedy manga Cyclops Shōjo Saipū will end in two more chapters. If the series does not take a break, the final chapter will run in the 43rd issue on September 25.

Tora launched the manga in 2011 (after a string of earlier one-shot chapters), and Shueisha published the third compiled volume in January. The series inspired a web anime adaptation, and the first episode debuted on Young Jump's official website in 2013.

The gag comedy centers around a middle school girl nicknamed "Saipū" (short for Cyclops) because of her ungainly height and hairstyle that reveals only one eye. In the web anime, Mai Nakahara plays the title character who adores her big brother.
