Saya Kiyoshi's spinoff manga inspires OAD bundled with main Saki manga's 14th volume
The October issue of Square Enix's Monthly Big Gangan magazine is announcing on Thursday that Saya Kiyoshi's four-panel spinoff manga Saki Biyori is getting its own original anime DVD (OAD). The OAD will come in a limited special first edition for the 14th volume of Ritz Kobayashi's main Saki manga on July 25, 2015.
Kiyoshi has been drawing Saki Biyori in Young Gangan (and later Monthly Big Gangan) since 2011. Square Enix published the spinoff manga's third compiled book volume last December.
The main Saki manga already inspired two television anime series. Another spinoff manga, Aguri Igarashi's Saki Achiga-hen episode of side-A, also inspired its own television anime.
