Company also announced collaboration with Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura

CAPCOM announced on Saturday that the North American release of a Monster Hunter Ultimate (Monster Hunter 4G in Japan) will get Mega Man costumes and a collaboration with Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura.

The Palico companions in Monster Hunter 4U can wear the classic Mega Man costume and wield Rush's hammer. Players will be able to forge the items when it ships in North America next year.

The company also announced it is working with Square Enix designer Tetsuya Nomura (Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts franchises). Nomura recently collaborated with Hatsune Miku to create a music video and Play Arts figure.

Other Monster Hunter 4 collaborations include a Super Mario and Legend of Zelda DLC, Seven Deadly Sins' Meliodas' Sword, a giant spoon weapon from Hiromu Arakawa's Silver Spoon manga, the Metroid game series, Animal Crossing game series, and Aladdin and Alibaba's weapons from Shinobu Ohtaka's Magi manga.

The Nintendo 3DS game shipped in Japan on Saturday. The hard copy of the game retails for 5,800 yen (about US$53) and the downloaded version is 5,546 yen (US$51). Players can transfer some data from Monster Hunter 4 to Monster Hunter 4G and it has online multi-player support. [Via Gematsu]
