Ronja the Robber's Daughter Listed at 26 Episodes

The Japanese branch of Amazon is listing eight Blu-ray Disc/DVD volumes and a total of 26 episodes for Goro Miyazaki's Ronja the Robber's Daughter anime. The monthly volumes will ship between January 30, 2015 and July 15, 2015.
The first two episodes aired back-to-back on Saturday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m. on BS Premium. The channel will re-air each episode the following Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., although the first two episodes will re-air at 6:00 p.m. BS Premium aired a 90-minute special on October 4 at 7:00 p.m. temporarily titled "Ronja wa Koushite Umareta" (How Ronja Was Born).
The story revolves around Ronja, the only daughter of Mattis, the chief of a tribe of bandits who live in a large castle in a forest. Ronja studies the ways of the mysterious creatures who live in the forest.
