Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai Anime's 1st Blu-ray, DVD to Include OVA

The official website for the Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai - A Good Librarian Like a Good Shepherd anime is listing the first Blu-ray and DVD volume for the series with a an original video anime as a bonus.
The first of six home video sets will ship on December 25 with the first two episodes, the OVA, the "Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai Zenyasai" special that aired on October 1, and a reversible cover with an original design by Kenichi Konishi. A limited edition Blu-ray set will also include a display box, a special manga booklet, two PR cards from Chaos TCG, and two postcards featuring end illustrations. The special edition will retail for 7,800 yen (about US$73), the regular edition Blu-ray will retail for 6,800 yen (about US$63), and the DVD will retail for 5,800 yen (about US$54).
The series based on a visual novel by August, creators of Fortune Arterial, premiered on October 9. FUNimation is streaming the series as it airs and describes the story:
Kyotaro Kakei is a shy student at a prestigious academy known for its massive library. The sole member of the school's library club, Kyotaro's always been better with books than girls – until a text message from the mysterious “Shepherd” hints that his fate will soon be changing. Life gets wild in a hurry after a vision allows Kyotaro to rescue Tsugumi, a beautiful girl who also received a text message from the “Shepherd.” Soon, Tsugumi announces her intentions to join the Library Club and, with Kyotaro's help, make school life much more interesting! It doesn't take long for a host of other pretty girls to follow Tsugumi's lead and join the club in the hopes of spicing up their boring academy lives. But just who is this “Shepherd,” what does he or she have to do with the Library Club's sudden popularity, and how in the world will Kyotaro survive being surrounded by all these girls!?
"Team Nico" members Kenichi Konishi (The Tale of Princess Kaguya, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos animation director and character designer), Tomomi Kamiya (Space Dandy, Hal, Psycho-Pass animator), Asami Sodeyama ( Hayate the Combat Butler: Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Space Brothers, Saint Seiya Omega animator), Kaori Hayashi (The Tale of Princess Kaguya, The Garden of Words animator), and Yuu Nobuta ( Dog Days, Asura Cryin', Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 episode director) are serving as director, character designer, and chief animation director for the series.
Madoka Yonezawa is leading the cast as Tsugumi, and Junji Majima is also starring as protagonist Kyōtarō. Other cast members include Nozomi Yamamoto as Senri, Yuka Saitou as Tamamo, Atsumi Tanezaki as Nagi, and Eri Sendai as Kana, among others.
