posted on by Egan Loo
This year's 48th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that writer NisiOisin and artist Akira Akatsuki are working together again on a one-shot manga story. "Musume Iri-Bako" (Girl in a Box) will run in the 49th issue with a color opening page on November 1. The 28-page manga will revolve around a cardboard box on a certain rainy day.
NisiOisin and Akatsuki previously worked together on the Medaka Box manga series which ran from 2009 until this past April. NisiOisin is better known for writing light novels, such as the Monogatari Series and Katanagatari. He is also publishing two Manga ONE-shots in Jump Square magazine on November 4: "RKD-EK9" with artist Takeshi Obata (Death Note, Bakuman., Hikaru no Go) and "Nan Made Nara Koroseru?" (Until What Will You Keep on Killing?) with Akihisa Ikeda (Rosario + Vampire).
