Media service Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it will begin streaming the Futsū no Joshikōsei ga Locodol Yattemita (Locodol) original video anime at 10:00 p.m. ET. The stream will be available worldwide except for in Asia.

The 25-minute original video anime episode "Nagarekawa, Annai Shite Mita" (I Tried to Show You Around Nagarekawa) was bundled with the first Blu-ray and DVD on September 24.

In the story, high school girl Nanako became her town's local idol at the request of her uncle. She and her upperclassman Yukari, a girl who seems perfect but ends up being airheaded, both become idols of their provincial area. They get interviewed (by the town's shopping center), go on television (low-budget cable), and hold concerts (on the roof of the department store). The girls' salaries come from the town's taxes.

Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan.

The streaming service will also add the previously announced Last Cinderella and Always the Two of Us live-action drama series. Last Cinderella will launch at 6:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday for Premium members. Crunchyroll will add 3-4 episodes each week for Free members. The site describes the story:

The series is available in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, South Africa, Netherlands, Central and South America including the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Denmark, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, France and DOM/TOM, and Andorra.
