Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono's 3rd Season to Have 30-Minute Episodes

posted on by Sarah Nelkin

The official website for the third season of the Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono anime updated on Saturday, and revealed that the third season of the anime will be titled Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono: Spin-off Puru Purun Sharumu to Asobō.

The anime will feature 30-minute episodes as opposed to the 10-minute episodes of the previous two seasons, and will be a collaboration anime with Ryū Jikō and K dani L's Minarai Megami: Puru Purun Sharumu manga that serializes in Kodansha's Shonen Sirius magazine.

The voice actresses who will play the goddesses-in-training are reprising their roles from the manga's radio program:

Shiori Mikami as Rin Arisugawa
Rumi Ookubo as Kanon Izayoi
Mikako Komatsu as Hina Usami
Natsumi Takamori as Yui Enjoji
Sumire Uesaka as Tomomi Okonogi

In addition, the voice actresses from the first two seasons will reprise their roles:

Asuka Nishi as Yua Suzuki
Satomi Akesaka as Hina Satō
Karin Ogino as Aoi Takahashi
Ayaka Ōhashi as Koharu Tanaka
Reina Ueda as Mobuko Sonota

The anime will premiere on Japanese television in 2015.

Ryū Jikō began the Minarai Megami: Puru Purun Sharumu manga with art by K dani L in 2012. The manga is part of a multimedia project, which also includes a radio program in which five voice actresses play their goddess-in-training characters and act out comedic scenarios.

The first season of Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono premiered last October and ran in 15-minute timeslots, and a second season premiered in January. The series uses the MikuMikuDance software to animate its characters. MikuMikuDance is Yū Higuchi's program that enables users to create dancing videos of Crypton Future Media's Vocaloid virtual idol character Hatsune Miku, as well as other characters. Kotora Suzune draws a manga adaptation on Takeshobo's Manga Life Win website.
