More details to be revealed on Monday

A new commercial for Bandai Namco Games' March 26 PlayStation 3/PS Vita action role-playing game Sword Art Online: Lost Song aired during the final Sword Art Online II episode on Saturday. The commercial feature visuals of the game's original characters and teases, "The gears slowly turn… A brilliant scientist singing of peace in the VR world. The singer's guardian. A girl, called a liar by others, seeking the light."

"The irregular at magic high school x Sword Art Online Games' Official Niconico Live" program on Monday will reveal more information about these characters and the game's story. KADOKAWA ASCII Media Works' Dengeki PlayStation Vol. 581 and other magazines will also reveal more details on Thursday.

Dengeki Online posted more images from the commercial.

In the game, players can fight in both in the sky and on the ground with a party of three characters. Many dungeons exist in the world. The game will feature the characters Kirito, Asuna, Leafa, Silica, Lisbeth, Sinon, and Philia.

The PS3 version will cost 7,120 yen (about US$66), and the PS Vita version will cost 6,170 yen (US$57). A limited edition that includes box art by abec, an original soundtrack CD, a Blu-ray Disc with special content, a mini-clear poster, and a special booklet will cost 9,980 yen (US$92). The company is also localizing the game in English and Chinese for Asian markets.

Bandai Namco first announced the game's development at the 2014 Tokyo Game Show stage event on September 19. Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online light novel series already inspired the Sword Art Online -Infinity Moment- and Sword Art Online -Hollow Fragment- games for the PlayStation Vita system. The light novels also inspired two television anime series.
