Mushishi Stage Reading Adds 9 More Anime Cast Members

The official website of the "Yomibutai (Stage Reading) Mushi-Shi" event updated its cast list on Sunday:
Yūko Sanpei as Shinra Ioroi
Takeshi Maeda as Kōrō
Takashi Matsuyama as Father
Rion Kako as Zen
Yuuna Inamura as Hana
Yūto Uemura as Rokosuke
Haruka Shiraishi as Masumi
Mitsuru Miyamoto as Masaki
Yui Ishikawa as Daughter
The cast reprise their roles from the Mushi-Shi and Mushishi: The Next Chapter television anime, and joins the previously announced main cast, with Yuto Nakano as Ginko, Ai Kobayashi as Tan'yū, and Mika Doi as the Narrator.
The stage reading adapts six chapters from the original manga into six separate performances, of which two to three will be performed each day.
Midori no Za (Mushi-Shi ep. 1)
Ame ga Kuru, Niji ga Tatsu (Mushi-Shi ep. 7)
Hitoyo Hashi (Mushi-Shi ep. 13)
Nozue no Utage (Mushishi: The Next Chapter ep. 1)
Kagami ga Fuchi (Mushishi: The Next Chapter ep. 5)
Hana Madoi (Mushishi: The Next Chapter ep. 6)
The show is billed as a new type of stage production. The visuals will span a 270 degree field of view and will be generated using augmented reality technology.
Though the production is not a stage play, it will have an original script by Kazuaki Nakamura, and directed by Hiroshi Nagahama, who directed both TV anime adaptations.
The show will run in Tokyo March 18-29, 2015.
