Viz Media Licenses Shotaro Ishinomori's Link to the Past Manga

The Legend of Zelda Comic Ran Nintendo Power in early 90's

Viz Media announced on Monday that it has licensed the Shōtarō Ishinomori's The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past manga under its Perfect Square imprint, and will release the one-volume graphic novel in May.

Ishinomori (Cyborg 009, Kamen Rider) drew the series in Nintendo Power magazine, and it was later compiled and released in one volume in 1993. The story follows the Super Nintendo Entertainment System game, but with added plot elements and characters.
