Square Enix Hiring Staff for Dragon Quest Title, Updates on Heroes

Square Enix posted a job opening for planner for an unspecified Dragon Quest game on the Japanese website Workport. The job responsibilities include map design, data creation, and implementing the game's online mode.
The Dragon Quest game is described as a consumer title that will "take on a new genre."
Dragon Quest X online role-playing game, creator Yuji Horii wrote last month that Square Enix will release Dragon Quest Heroes in February ,Theathrhythm Dragon Quest in March, and the third version of the massive multiplayer online role-playing game Dragon Quest X this spring. He also hinted that there are unannounced projects related to the franchise's 30th anniversary.
Square Enix's Ryūtarō Ichimura did not confirm a Western release for the upcoming titles when asked by game news website Game Watch, but that he would like to "spread [Dragon Quest Heroes] even further around the world." A Chinese version of Dragon Quest Heroes: Yamiryū to Sekai Ki no Shiro (Dragon Quest Heroes: The Darkness Dragon & the Castle of the World Tree) was announced at the Taipei Game Show this weekend.
The story takes place in the kingdom of of Elsarze, where humans and monsters work hand in hand, and everything is peaceful. However, one day, the monsters turn violent, and begin attacking the humans. Captains of the Imperial Guards Akt and Mare stand up in order to bring back the original hearts of the monsters, and bring peace back to Elsarze once more.
Ichimura and Koei Tecmo producer Kenichi Ogasawara said they would consider an English dub if it would benefit the game.
Square Enix will ship the game in Japan on February 26, 2015. The PlayStation 4 version will cost 7,800 yen (about US$77), while the PlayStation 3 version will cost 6,800 yen (about US$67). The limited edition Dragon Quest Metal Slime Edition PlayStation 4 will be released on December 11 in limited quantities for the price of 49,980 yen (about US$499).
