Compile Heart's Omega Quintet RPG's English Opening Streamed

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Game's voice cast performs opening theme "PROMiSED ViSION"

Idea Factory International released the English version of Compile Heart's Omega Quintet hybrid role-playing and idol-simulation game on Thursday. Idea Factory will release the game on the PlayStation 4 in North America this spring. The video features the opening song "PROMiSED ViSION" by voice actresses Riho Iida, Rui Tanabe, Moe Toyota, Inori Minase, and Erii Yamazaki.

Idea Factory International describes the game as follows:

In a world overrun by a mysterious, malevolent darkness, the only hope for humanity rests in the music of singing idols known as "Verse Maidens". Wielding weapons of sound, they are tasked with fighting back evil and restoring the world, but it won't be easy! These five plucky girls - with the help of their manager TAKT - will have to give the performance of a lifetime to stop this darkness from claiming the last of humanity. Will they be able to band together and blow this evil away, or will they fight only to discover that the darkness has been lurking within them the whole time...?

The game will include both the original Japanese voices with English subtitles and an English voiceover track.

The Japanese voice cast includes:

Riho Iida as -otoha- (pictured center)
Rui Tanabe as Kyouka (bottom right)
Moe Toyota as Kanadeko (top left)
Inori Minase as Nene (top right)
Erii Yamazaki as Aria (bottom left)

Lantis handled the music production for the game and (idea) WILL served as music producer. Fukahire handled the original character design.

The game shipped in Japan on October 2 in a regular and limited edition. Those who pre-ordered the game received an original soundtrack CD.
