The teaser site for a new project titled Xuccess Heaven: Neo Tokyo School Success Battle opened on Thursday. The accompanying teaser video asserts that the "ultra top secret project launches" to "defy the common expectations of anime."

Naotake Furusato (CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon) is credited with the project's planning and original concept. The character designers include Hirokazu Hisayuki (My-Hime), Youhei Sasaki (Phi-Brain - Puzzle of God), Shou Matsui (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion animation director), and Yukiko Akiyama (Black Cat), and Hisashi Hirai (Gundam Seed).
The cast includes Atsushi Abe, Sachi Kokuryu, Jun Fukuyama, Kiyotaka Furushima, Tomoaki Maeno, Mamoru Miyano, and model/actress Yūmi Shida. The idol groups iRis and Yume-Miru Adolescence (Dreaming Adolescence) are collaborating to sing the theme song.
The Niconico service will stream the project's unveiling live on March 17 at 2:00 p.m. (1:00 a.m. EDT).
