Kyudo Boys' Keiko Nishi to End Koi to Gunkan Manga With Volume 8

The seventh volume of Keiko Nishi's Koi to Gunkan (Love and Warship) manga announced on Friday that the eighth volume, which ships this summer, will be the last.
Nishi began the series in Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine in 2011. The story follows Kana Endō, a middle school first year, and her manga otaku classmate Akira Shinohara. Kana is secretly in love with the 41-year-old town mayor. They find that the mayor has a mysterious relationship with a blond-haired, 37-year-old male manga artist.
JManga published two volumes of Nishi's four-volume series Kyudo Boys, about the romantic relationships of a group of high school boys, digitally in English before the the site ended service. Her Otoko no Isshō (A Man's Lifetime) manga will got a live-action film adaptation that opened in February.
