Manga about stand-up comedy duo begins final arc on March 26

The 18th compiled volume of Masanori Morita's Beshari Gurashi comedy manga series revealed on Thursday that the manga will enter its final story arc in this year's 17th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine on March 26.

The manga's story center around Keisuke Agatsuma, a high school student with a great sense of comedy. A student named Jun Tsujimoto transfers to his school. Both share ideas and form a plan to make a stand-up comedian duo. They aim to become pro together, despite the many hardships they will face.

Masanori Morita launched the Beshari Gurashi manga in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2005. It ran for 28 chapters until Morita transferred the title to Weekly Young Jump.

Morita also created the Rookies manga, which inspired a live-action TV drama in 2008, and a movie titled Rookies: Graduation in 2009.
