Pokemon Animation Attraction Coming to Westfield Shopping Centre

posted on by Andrew Osmond
London attraction will help children animate, opens later this year

The MCVUK website reports that a 'Pokémon Animation Studio' will open in London in 2015, letting children create their own Pokémon animation. The attraction will be part of KidZania, a 75,000 square foot 'child-sized city' opening in Westfield, a shopping centre in Stratford, London (near Shepherd's Bush and Wood Lane stations). KidZania will open on June 25, although the Pokémon studio is slated to open later in the year.

According to MCVUK, "the Studio will serve an educational purpose, teaching visitors about the basics of stop-motion animation. They'll also have the chance to make their own stop-motion flicks, utilising Pokémon toys... Some of the toys on offer will additionally be available through the Kidzania Redemption Store, where children will be able to purchase them with credit earned by participating in activities – such as the Studio."
