Gelar Jepang to Host Silent Siren as Musical Guest

Female band will hold 1st Indonesian performance on August 9

The Gelar Jepang event in Depok, Indonesia announced on its Facebook page on Tuesday that the four-member female band Silent Siren will perform in Indonesia for the first time during the event on August 9.

Tickets to the concert will cost 20,000 rupiah, although reserving tickets between July 27 and August 2 will cost 15,000 rupiah. The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m on Boulevard Universitas Indonesia.

Silent Siren formed in 2010 and currently consists of the members Sumire Yoshida, Hinako Umemura, Aina Yamauchi, and Yukako Kurosaka. The group released their self-titled third album on February 25. The band released their 9th single, "Hapimari," on June 10, and will release their 10th single CD, "Hachigatsu no Yoru" (August Night), on August 5. The band will perform a cover of ZONE's hit 2001 song "secret base ~Kimi ga Kuretamono~" to serve as the theme song for the upcoming live-action television special adaptation of the anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day anime.
