The official website for K Return of Kings, the second season of the K television anime, revealed on Tuesday that Yui Horie will perform "Asymmetry" as the anime's opening theme and CustomiZ will perform "Kai" (Solution) as the ending theme.

Angela cooperated with the musical composition of "Asymmetry," while atsuko wrote the lyrics and composed the song. KATSU arranged the song and also composed it alongside atsuko. GRP is handling the arrangement for "Kai," while GoRA's Tatsuki Miyazawa is writing the lyrics. GRP and Shun Kusakawa are composing the ending theme.

The "Asymmetry" single will ship in Japan on November 4 and the "Kai" single will ship on November 18.

Yui Horie performed insert songs in both the original K anime and the K: Missing Kings movie. She also performed the ending theme "Stay With Me" for Dog Days'', and the opening and ending theme songs for Golden Time.

The four-man rock band CustomiZ performed "Ray of Light," the ending them for the second season of the Knights of Sidonia anime, and the fourth ending theme song "Life and Death" for Shōnen Hollywood - Holly Stage for 49.

The official website also revealed on Friday that Kenjiro Tsuda will play the character Gouki Zenjo (pictured below) in the second season. Gouki debuted in the franchise in the K Side: Blue novel, and is a member of the Blue Clan. Tsuda previously also played Mikoto Suoh in the first television anime season and the film.

K: Return of Kings will premiere in Japan in October.

Viz Media announced in July that it licensed the K film, K: Missing Kings, and K: Return of Kings.

The show's official website describes the story of the new anime season:

In modern Japan, where history has strangely overlapped with reality. There, seven "Kings" with great superpowers existed. Along with their clansman to whom they shared their own power with, the kings each formed clans. Order bound by blue, red flames that cause chaos, irregularities that shine in white, and reforms branched off into green. The Kings, each with their own abilities, now...

The Blue King Reisi Munakata, the leader of the Blue Clan "Scepter 4," held great responsibilities on his back. The tower that Gold King Daikaku Kokujōji supervised called the Dresden Slate was still on his mind, and he felt a great burden by killing the previous Red King, Mikoto Suoh.

On the other hand, the former Red Clan "Homra" clansman Anna Kushina experienced the attacks from the Green Clan "jungle" and awakened as the next Red King. By doing this, she bound her comrades through a strong bond once again.

Finally, White Clan members Neko and Kuroh believe that the White King Yashiro is still alive, and seek his whereabouts. However, it was not just them searching for the White King. The Green King Nagare Hisui once again...

With "jungle" once again jumping back into action, the fates of the various Kings are brought together.
