New Game! will be set after previous Sword Art Online games

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced during a stage event at Tokyo Game Show 2015 on Thursday that it is developing a fourth game based on Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online light novel series.

The game will take place after the Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, and Sword Art Online: Lost Song games. Bandai Namco Entertainment will provide more details about the new game at the Dengeki Bunko Fall Festival 2015 event on October 4.

In addition, the Accel World character Kuroyukihime was added as a playable character in Sword Art Online: Lost Song on Thursday. She appeared in the game in an update in May, but was not playable until now.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released Sword Art Online: Lost Song for PS3 and PS Vita in Japan on March 26. The game is slated for November 13 in Europe, and November 17 in North America on the PS4 and the PS Vita.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment for PS4 in North America on July 28, and for Europe, Australia, and the Middle East on August 4. The game is a remake of the Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment 2014 PS Vita game.

Bandai Namco Entertainment will also release the "Game Director's Edition" for the PS4 on November 19 in Japan. The "Game Director's Edition" collects both the Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment and Sword Art Online: Lost Song games, and includes product codes for downloadable costumes for both games.

Bandai Namco Games released the Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment game for the PlayStation Portable in Japan in March 2013.
