Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Raihōsha-hen Manga Launches This Winter

New manga adapts 4th arc of The Irregular at Magic High School novel series

The October issue of Square Enix's G Fantasy magazine announced last Friday that it will begin serializing the manga Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Raihōsha-hen this winter. The manga will adapt the fourth arc of the original novel series, and continue Gin Amō's Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Yokohama Sōran-hen manga, which ended in the same issue.

The magazine also notes that Square Enix will publish the fifth and final compiled book volume on November 27. Square Enix released the manga's fourth compiled volume in June.

Tsutomu Satou's The Irregular at Magic High School light novels previously inspired manga adaptations of the series' first arc (Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei) and second arc (Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Kyūkōsen-hen), as well as a prequel (Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Tsuioku-hen) and spinoff (Mahōka Kōkō no Yūtōsei).

Yen Press licensed the light novel series for an English release. The first light novel is set to ship in October. The company has also licensed the Mahōka Kōkō no Yūtōsei (The honour at magic high school) spinoff manga.

The series also inspired a television anime series. Aniplex of America licensed the series for release on Blu-ray Disc in North America. Aniplex of America streamed the series as it aired along with Crunchyroll.

:Update: Title fixed. Thanks Hameyadea!
