Aramaki, Ishikawa, Saito revealed in costume for play running in Tokyo in November

The official website for the Ghost in the Shell Arise: Ghost is Alive stage play revealed three more main cast members in costume on Friday. The website previously revealed Kaede Aono in costume as Motoko Kusanagi in August.

The official website also has more images of the cast in costume.

The show's main cast in costume is as follows:

Kaede Aono as Motoko Kusanagi

Ikkyuu Juku as Daisuke Aramaki

Tatsuya Isaka as Ishikawa

Ryūnosuke Matsumura as Saito

The rest of the main cast outside of costume includes:

Ren Yagami as Batou

Kentarō Kanesaki as Togusa

Katsuhiko Ibuka as Paz

Yutaka Matsuzaki as Borma

Shingo Takasaki as Ibachi

Asana Mamoru as Kurtz

Asami Yoshikawa as Saeed

Misaki Momose as Tsuda Ema

Keisuke Minami as Jose

Juku also provided the voice for the character of Aramaki in Ghost in the Shell Arise and in the Kōkaku Kidōtai Shin Gekijō-ban film.

Shutaro Oku (Persona 3, Persona 4, Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena, Blood-C: The Last Mind stage plays) is directing the play, while Jun'ichi Fujisaku (scriptwriter for Blood-C, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex anime) is writing the scripts. Tow Ubukata (Ghost in the Shell Arise series composition, scripts) is serving as editorial supervisor.

The play will run at the Tokyo Geijutsu Gekijō Playhouse from November 5-15. Tickets went on sale on the e-plus website on August 25. The play will "for the first time in Japan" use 3D videos as part of the main performance, and will feature the cast acting alongside the videos to enhance the performance. Attendees will wear 3D glasses.

The Ghost in the Shell Arise OVA project included four episodes, the last of which premiered in Japan in August 2014. Funimation licensed all four episodes and released the first episode in a special imported edition in 2013, and then released all four episodes in North America last year.

A television broadcast of the four OVAs with two extra episodes premiered in Japan on April 5 under the title Ghost in the Shell: Arise Alternative Architecture. Funimation streamed Ghost in the Shell: Arise Alternative Architecture as it aired.

The Kōkaku Kidōtai Shin Gekijō-ban (Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie) film opened on June 20.
