Danganronpa 2 Stage Play's Cast Message Video Streamed

The official website for the Super Danganronpa 2 ~Sayonara Zetsubo Gakuen~ (Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Academy) stage play began streaming a video on Thursday featuring cast members Maasa Sudou (Mikan Tsumiki), Ayumi Mizukoshi (Hiyoko Saionji), and Yōsuke Nishi (Byakuya Togami) describing their similarities to the characters they play. Sudou answers that she is similar to Tsumiki in that they will both find reasons to start conversations with friends. Mizukoshi answers height (both her and Saionji are short), and Nishi answers physique.
The official website has also revealed all of the play's actors in costume.

In addition, Nobuyo Ōyama will reprise her role from the Danganronpa games as the voice of Monokuma, and Takako Sasuga will similarly reprise her role from the Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair game as Monomi. Sayaka Kanda, who played Junko Enoshima in the first Danganronpa stage play last fall, will also have a special video role in the new play. Musical duo TRUSTRICK (comprised of singer Sayaka Kanda and guitarist Billy) will perform the theme song for the stage play.
The second Danganronpa play will run from December 3 to 13 at the Zepp Blue Theater Roppongi venue in Tokyo.
Kei Horie is returning from the first Danganronpa stage play to serve as producer, and Masahiro Yoshida is producing the show with Pia's Seiichi Sometani. Fumiya Matsuzaki will take over as director, and Spike Chunsoft's Kazutaka Kodaka will once again direct the play's scenario. Masafumi Takada, the composer for the original Danganronpa 2 game, will compose the music.
