Love Live!'s μ's Puts 6 CDs in Japan's Top 100 Best-Selling Albums/Singles of 2015

Six CD releases from the Love Live! School idol project franchise's μ's idol group ranked in Oricon's top 100 best-selling albums and singles charts for 2015. In the top 100 selling albums, the μ's Best Album Best Live Collection II album ranked at #31, selling 138,105 copies (making the album certified gold). In the top 100 selling singles of 2015, the "Angelic Angel"/"Hello, Hoshi o Kazoete," "SUNNY DAY SONG"/"?←Heartbeat," "Boku-tachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari"/"Future Style," "Fuyu ga Kureta Yokan," and "HEART to HEART" singles ranked 55th (131,274 copies), 57th (125,225), 58th (124,254), 68th (95,304), and 69th (91,749), respectively.
The ranking lists cover sales from December 8, 2014 to December 13, 2015.
In addition, "Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteiru kai?", the debut single of the successor franchise Love Live! Sunshine!!'s Aqours group, is the 96th best-selling single with 64,640 copies. In the rookie subcategory (comprising artists and musical acts that debuted in 2015), the single ranks at #2 with 190 million yen (US$1.6 million). Shiena Nishizawa's "Fubuki" single (Kan Colle ending theme) ranks at #3 in the rookie category with 80 million yen (US$660,000).
Other anime song singles that entered the top 100 best-selling singles of 2015 include: UNISON SQUARE GARDEN's "Sugar Song to Bitter Step" (Blood Blockade Battlefront ending theme) at #71 with 90,965, "THE IDOLM@STER LIVE THE@TER DREAMERS 01 Dreaming!" at #94 with 67,428, "THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS ANIMATION PROJECT 01 Star!!" (The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls opening theme) at #95 with 65,213.
Nana Mizuki's 11th album SMASHING ANTHEMS is the 49th best-selling album of 2015, with 77,524 copies sold. Eir Aoi's D'AZUR ranked 96th with 48,870, and ClariS' ClariS ~SINGLE BEST 1st~ is ranked 97th with 48,086.
