California's FanimeCon to Host Voice Actor Daisuke Sakaguchi

Anime, manga academic Gilles Poitras to also appear at May 27-30 event

California's FanimeCon announced on Thursday that it will host voice actor Daisuke Sakaguchi. Sakaguchi has voiced Shinpachi Shimura in Gintama, Jacuzzi Splot in Baccano!, Leonardo Watch in Blood Blockade Battlefront, Xeno in World Trigger, Satoshi Fukube in Hyōka, and Youhei Sunohara in Clannad, among many others.

FanimeCon also announced that it will host Gilles Poitras. Poitras has written several books on anime and manga. He has also written for Newtype USA and Otaku USA and served on the senior board for the Mechadamia academic publication.

FanimeCon previously announced that it would host voice actor Masaya Matsukaze and vocal dance group Da-iCE. FanimeCon will take place on May 27-30 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
