Super Robot Wars V Game Gets English Localization in Asia

PS4, PS Vita game ships in Japan next year

The staff of the Super Robot Wars V PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita game announced during the Niconico livestream event that announced the game on Saturday that the game will get a localized release in Asia in English, Traditional Chinese, and Korean (the announcement is at 1:38:30 in the above linked video).

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia streamed the same teaser trailer that Bandai Namco Entertainment released on Saturday, but the video's description only notes the Traditional Chinese and Korean localization.

The game is the second project in the franchise's 25th anniversary celebration. This will be the first game in the franchise to feature characters or mecha from the following works:

The first project announced as part of the franchise's 25th anniversary celebration is the Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers (Super Robot Taisen OG: The Moon Dwellers) game. The simulation role-playing game will ship for PS4 and PS3 on June 30. The game will also ship with an English-language version for the PS4 in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
