Pokémon GO Launched in the UK

UK Anime Network reports that the augmented reality smartphone game Pokémon GO is now available in the UK for iOS and Android devices and can be purchased from the Google Play store and Apple iTunes Store.

The BBC website reports concerns about the game's safety in the UK. "On Wednesday, the chief executive of children's charity NSPCC urged the app's makers to adapt the game before its UK release, warning that adults could use it to prey on children."
