The October issue of Gentosha's Monthly Comic Birz magazine revealed last Wednesday that manga artist Takashi Ikeda (Whispered Words), will begin a new manga series, Tokei Shikake no Ane (Clockwork Older Sister) in the December issue, which ships on October 28.

Monthly Comic Birz teases the story:

In a shopping district lived a pair of beautiful siblings, an older sister and younger brother. However, these two had a secret. A big commotion involving the whole town will unfold!

The same issue announced Shigeru Tsuchiyama (Gokudō Meshi, Tōhan - The Air Food Battle!!) will begin a new manga tentatively titled Ore, Nankyoku de Ryouri-Shitemasu (I'm Cooking in the South Pole) in the November issue on September 30. Yashiro Ōsaka (Rurimiya Mugen Furumonoten or Rurimiya's Curios Antique Shop) will begin a new series in the fall. Hiroshi Mori and Yuka Suzuki (Akame Hime no Chokai), Haruaki Aono (1,000,000 Yen ...no Onna-tachi), and Santa Uonome (Shiawase Gohan) will begin new manga in the January issue on November 30 and Sugisaku (Neko Nanka Yonde mo Konai) will begin a new series in the February issue on December 29.

North American manga publisher One Peace Books released Takashi Ikeda's Whispered Words manga (pictured above right) in May 2014. The manga ran in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive magazine from 2007 to 2011, and Media Factory published nine compiled book volumes. The manga inspired a television anime that aired in 2009. Crunchyroll streamed the anime outside Japan as it aired.
