North American publisher Digital Manga Inc. hinted on Wednesday on Twitter that it will publish Osamu Tezuka's Under the Air and The Crater manga.

Tezuka's Under the Air collects a series of 14 short stories that Tezuka drew between 1968 and 1970. The stories share no continuity or story, and are tied together only by themes of human nature and duality.

In Japan, the stories have been collected multiple times. The first were in a two-volume set from Asahi Sonorama in 1971-1972. Kodansha collected the stories again in its Tezuka Osamu Manga Zenshū collection in 1982. Daitosha collected the series, omitting three stories, in the Hard Comics book in 1985. Akita Shoten published the stories in a single stand-alone volume in 1995, and Kodansha published another stand-alone volume in 2011 as part of its Tezuka Osamu Bunko Zenshū collection.

Kansai Club Publishing previously ran a successful Kickstarter campaign for The Crater in 2013, but the company has not yet released the manga.
