MCM London Comic Con Line-Up

London event runs from Friday to Sunday

The MCM London Comic Con will take place from Friday October 28 to Sunday October 30. The event is at London's ExCel Centre. The guide is here. See below for the panel line-up.

The anime-related guests are director Naoyoshi Shiotani, animator Takeshi Honda, and two of the main dub-actors from Attack on Titan (pictured).

Manga UK will be presenting 'Anime Karaoke,' with a songlist available here. Manga's stage will also be featuring 'Polished Manga,' running on Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. Nail artists will be painting 'anime nails' in support of the charity 'Polished Man,' helping abused children. There will also be a 'Polished Manga' raffle draw at 2.30 p.m. in support of the same charity; tickets will be available on Saturday morning from a table near the Manga stage.

Anime Limited will have a joint stand with Crunchyroll (in the North Hall). It will be selling the following titles: Psycho-Pass The Movie (standard DVD, Ltd Collector's Edition Blu-ray/DVD), Fullmetal Alchemist Part 1 and 2 Ltd Edition Blu-rays, The Tatami Galaxy (Ltd Edition Blu-ray), Gundam Reconguista in G (Blu-ray), Project Itoh: Harmony (standard DVD, Ltd Collector's Edition Blu-ray/DVD Steel Box), Escaflowne Ultimate Edition (Blu-ray set), Lucky Star (Blu-ray), Outlaw Star (Blu-ray). It will also be selling Funimation UK titles including High School DxD BorN and Yuri Kuma Arashi.

The stand will have a screening room, with 'screenings of many subtitled anime that are currently streaming at Crunchyroll and will be coming to home video in the future.' The schedule will be posted before the event on Friday.

- Friday

3 p.m. - In This Corner of the World Mini Showcase (Manga UK stage) featuring trailers for the anime period drama film and a clip.

3.30 - 4 p.m.: All the Anime panel (Silver theatre)

Saturday

2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Naoyoshi Shiotani panel (Silver theatre)

3 p.m. - 4 p.m. Manga Animatsu panel (Manga Entertainment stand)

4 p.m. - EuroCosplay Final (Gold theatre)

5 p.m. - 6 p.m. Attack on Titan voice actor panel (Silver theatre) - featuring dub actors Bryce Papenbrook (Eren) and Trina Nishimura (Mikasa).

Sunday

12 noon - 1 p.m. Takeshi Honda panel (Silver theatre). Honda's credits include mechanical animation director on Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone, animation director on Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance, chief animation director on Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, as well as animating on Millennium Actress, Perfect Blue, Ponyo, The Wind Rises, The Boy and The Beast, Kill la Kill, When Marnie Was There, A Letter to Momo, Space Dandy and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence.

1.30 p.m. - 2 p.m. All the Anime panel (Platinum theatre)

PopAsia Screenings

- Friday

11 a.m - 12:00 noon - Nobunaga The Fool screening

Saturday

10 a.m. - 11 a.m. - Chobits screening

Sunday

10 a.m. - 11 a.m. PopAsia - Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun screening

Naoyoshi Shiotani signing sessions will be on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon to 1.30 p.m. Takeshi Honda's sessions will be on Saturday from 11.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
