The game will be a "heroic RPG" set at Hoshinomiya Girls High School in modern day Japan, with themes of communication and connections between people. Gust began streaming a "concept image" video in October.

The game's characters include:

Yūki Takada as Hinako Shirai, the protagonist. A year before the game starts, she was supposed to compete in a ballet competition overseas, but due to suffering a sudden foot injury, she dropped out. Ever since then, she has grown reticent and distant, but is determined to not let her decade-long ballet practice go to waste.

Marika Kōno as Yuzuki Shijō, one of the mysterious girls who gives Hinako the power to be a Reflector. She transfers into Hinako's school a few days after she and Hinako meet. She has a cheerful sense of humor that favors sudden jokes, and a personality that makes everyone like her. Although she has only just met Hinako, Hinako is first in her mind.

Sawako Hata as Raimu Shijō, one of the mysterious girls who gives Hinako the power to be a Reflector. She is Yuzuki's sister and is in the same grade level as her in school. Her way of thinking prizes efficiency above all else, and she prioritizes her own feelings above those of others. Nevertheless, like her sister, she treasures Hinako.

Mikako Komatsu as Shihori Sugamoto, a sexy young lady who has a unique atmosphere. she is beautiful and stylish, and men often come to help her, so she doesn't really experience many hardships. She has many male friends and is often seen leaving school with one of them, but to her, they are all equally just friends.

The story begins when Hinako meets Yuzuki and Raimu, who give her the power to transform into a magical girl known as a Reflector. In this form, she can move freely, and fights to achieve her dream of one day healing her foot injury so she can practice ballet again. In the Reflector form, Hinako gains blonde hair and heterochromatic eyes. Without knowing the reason why Yuzuki and Raimu ask her to fight, or whom she is fighting, Hinako takes on the task of being a magical girl for her one wish. However, as the game progresses, Hinako will begin to question the purpose of her battles and what she is fighting.
