Chūko Video-Ya no Onna Tenin X Manga Gets Short Anime About Life in Video Shop

A short anime adaptation of Haruka Mado's Chūko Video-Ya no Onna Tenin X (Used Video Shop's Female Shop Clerk X) began streaming on the YouTube and Niconico services on Tuesday.
The story centers on a 19-year-old female video shop clerk named Chiaki Sakata (voiced by M.A.O) and Inari (Atsumi Tanezaki), a elementary school boy who keeps sneaking into the adult section. Atsushi Imaruoka plays the shop manager Kiyohara.
ROSENFILM produced the adaptation and I&S Factory worked on the animation. Berugen directed the short, Fuyumi Toriyama served as character designer and chief animation director, Shūji Katayama (Team-MAX) composed the music, and Akihito Aoki served as chief director.
Mado published the four-page manga in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in 2014.
