Visual Art's/Key (Kanon, AIR, Clannad) unveiled its Summer Pockets Windows PC game with an official website on Thursday. The visual contains the text "That dazzling brightness was the only thing I didn't forget."

Jun Maeda (Kanon, AIR, Clannad, Angel Beats!) is credited with the original concept. Na-Ga (Angel Beats!, Little Busters!, Charlotte), Tsubasu Izumi (Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka, Mashiroiro Symphony - The color of lovers), and Yūnon Nagayama (Angel Beats!) are credited with providing the original illustrations.

Yū Niijima (Koi x Shin Ai Kanojo, Majo Koi Nikki), KAI (Clannad, Rewrite, Harmonia), and Hasama (Tokyo Babel, Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi.) are writing the scenario. Maeda is composing the music with Shinji Orito (Angel Beats! Harmonia), Donmaru (planetarian, Little Busters!, Giniro, Haruka) and Tomohiro Takeshita (planetarian, Angel Beats!, Harmonia).

The website for Kadokawa's Dengeki G's Magazine posted an interview with the game's staff on Thursday that also revealed the names and rough draft images of the game's four heroines. The interview also revealed that the game takes place in a rural district of a certain isolated island, and the game tells the story of "one nostalgic summer." The four heroines are:

Shiroha Naruse, a girl who forgot her summer vacation.

Ao Sorakado, a girl who is pursuing the legends of the island.

Kamome Kushima, a high-class young woman who is searching for a pirate ship.

Tsumugi Vendas, a younger girl who is searching for herself.

Dengeki G's Magazine will reveal more information about the game's heroines in its February issue, which ships on December 27.

Visual Art's/Key released its Harmonia PC game on September 23. The company released the game's English version before the Japanese version.
