Upcoming London Anime Screenings

Includes Cowboy Bebop: The Movie on Sunday January 8, Satoshi Kon's Paprika at the end of March

Upcoming anime cinema screenings in London include Cowboy Bebop: The Movie this coming Sunday (January 8) at the Prince Charles cinema in Leicester Square and Satoshi Kon's Paprika at the Barbican Centre on March 29.

The Cowboy Bebop: The Movie screening will be at 8.45 p.m. at the Prince Charles cinema on the evening of January 8. The same cinema is also screening several Studio Ghibli films (details), including the English-dubbed Princess Mononoke on the same Sunday (12.30 p.m. lunchtime). The cinema is also still screening Makoto Shinkai's your name. (subtitled), with screenings confirmed until January 12, and will be one of the venues showing the 1995 Ghost in the Shell on January 25 (tickets).

The Paprika screening is at the Barbican Centre on Wednesday March 29 at 8.30 p.m., tickets here. The screening will be double-billed with a 28-minute live-action American short film, The Secret Cinema, made in 1966.
