Naruto: Chibi Sasuke's Sharingan Legend Manga Ends

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Manga's 3rd volume slated for July

The May issue of Shueisha's Saikyō Jump magazine published the last chapter of Kenji Taira's Naruto: Chibi Sasuke's Sharingan Legend (Uchiha Sasuke no Sharingan Den) manga on Saturday. The manga's third and final compiled book volume is slated for July. The manga is a comedy spin-off series of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga.

The magazine revealed in February that the manga was approaching its climax.

Uchiha Sasuke no Sharingan Den revolves around Sasuke Uchiha, a user of the Sharingan eye. Although he is usually cool, he also has a humorous side to him.

Taira launched the spin-off manga in October 2014. Shueisha published the manga's second compiled book volume (pictured right) last July. North American manga publisher Viz Media began posting chapters of the series in English online last June. Viz Media will also publish the manga's first volume digitally and in print.

Taira's other Naruto spin-off, Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden, ran in Saikyō Jump from 2010 to 2014. The manga inspired the 51-episode Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals anime series in 2012-2013, which Crunchyroll and Viz Media both streamed as it aired.

Taira launched Boruto SD, a new spin-off series of Ukyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto's Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga series, in Saikyō Jump on March 3.
