DC Super Heroes vs. Eagle Talon Comedy Anime Film Opens in October

The official website of DLE Inc.'s DC Super Heroes vs. Eagle Talon anime film revealed on Thursday that the film will open in Japan on October 21.
In addition, the film's staff is running an auction, supposedly in order to increase the budget for the film to match Hollywood standards. The auction allows people to bid for the rights to use monster characters from Eagle Talon freely for five years. The first round of auctioning will take place on May 29 to June 4, and the second round will take place on June 5 to 11.
The anime's site is also sharing the project's budget table, which shows that the licensing costs for the DC characters are left ambiguous.
DLE Inc. outlines the film's story:
Joker has come to Japan to steal the Eagle Talon Society's secret weapons in his continued scheme for pure chaos. However, the Justice League is on his trail, but there's something off with Batman. Now, it's up to Eagle Talon to go find out what's wrong with Batman, and that means going back in time to Bruce Wayne's most traumatic experience, the murder of his parents. If that wasn't enough to worry about, the Eagle Talon Society also have to keep their eyes on their production budget, especially with most of that money going toward the licensing fee for DC's popular characters. Will the Eagle Talon Society and the Justice League be able to stop the Joker before their budget dries up, and they're reduced to simple stick figures!?
The original Eagle Talon Flash anime centers on the titular secret society and its bumbling attempts to take over the world. The production company DLE Inc. launched the first Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume (Secret Society Eagle Talon) television series in 2006, and the series spawned several films. Artist Frogman serves as the "director/writer/character designer/sound recording engineer/Flash animator/editor/voice actor."
Eagle Talon GT, the anime's seventh season, premiered in April 2016 in celebration of the franchise's 10th anniversary. For the first time in the franchise's history, the show included live-action segments in addition to the anime shorts, where the series' creator Frogman appears in costume as the character Yoshida.
Warner Bros. Pictures' Justice League film opens in Japan on November 18, one day after opening in the United States.
