Crunchyroll, Hulu stream ongoing anime with subtitles, Funimation streams series with dub

This year's 27th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing on Monday that Gō Inoue (Tiger & Bunny's Keith Goodman/Sky High, Rage of Bahamut Genesis' Kaisar Lidfard) will join the cast of the second season of the My Hero Academia anime as the character Stain. The show's staff had revealed a visual (pictured at right) last June for the second season that teased that the character would appear. The issue on Monday will also reveal Stain's full anime character design.

The second season premiered in Japanese with English subtitles on Crunchyroll and Hulu on April 1, and FunimationNow is streaming the English dub. The anime is listed with 25 episodes. The new season is covering the U.A. Sports Festival arc of Kōhei Horikoshi's original manga.

The anime's first season of 13 episodes premiered on the MBS/TBS channel last April. Funimation streamed the series in Japanese with English subtitles in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland as it aired in Japan. The company also streamed a broadcast dub.

Horikoshi's original manga also inspired an event anime that screened in Tokyo in November and then in four other Japanese cities in December. The anime shipped on DVD in Japan with a limited edition of the 13th volume the manga on April 4. A second OVA will ship on DVD in Japan with a limited edition of the 14th volume on Friday.
