London Cinema Anime Screenings This Summer

London's Barbican Centre is screening the Studio Ghibli film Whisper of the Heart, pictured left, on Saturday June 17 at 4 p.m. (tickets here).
There will be an outdoor screening (tickets) of Hayao Miyazaki's My Neighbor Totoro at Somerset House on Sunday August 20. The doors will open at 6.30 p.m. The screening is part of the 'Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House' programme
The Prince Charles cinema in London's Leicester Square is screening the following films. All tickets are available here.
- Akira (Katsuhiro Ōtomo) on Thursday June 8 at 8.45 p.m.
- Grave of the Fireflies on Saturday January 10 at 6.20 p.m.
- Paprika (Satoshi Kon), right, on Sunday June 11 at 8.45 p.m.
- In This Corner of the World (Sunao Katabuchi) on Wednesday June 28 at 8.45 p.m.
- My Neighbor Totoro on Saturday July 8 at 6.30 p.m.
- Ghost in the Shell (1995 film) on Tuesday July 18 at 6.40 p.m.
- Kiki's Delivery Service on July 22 at 6 p.m.
- Princess Mononoke on August 5 at 5.10 p.m.
- Napping Princess (Kenji Kamiyama) on August 16 at 8.45 p.m.
- Spirited Away on August 19 at 6 p.m.
- Perfect Blue (Satoshi Kon) on Wednesday November 1 at 8.45 p.m.
