Digimon ReArise Smartphone Game's 1st Teaser Video Streamed

Bandai Namco Entertainment posted a teaser video for its upcoming Digimon Re:Arise smartphone game on Wednesday. The text in the video reads, "Here is the story where your Digimon becomes real."
The game is slated for 2018.
The "friendship evolution Digimon RPG" will be free to play with the option to purchase items. Players will be able to visit a town to interact with and befriend Digimon. The story involves the sudden appearance of Digimon from the player's smartphone, and a sudden powerful force that attacks.
The staff have revealed two human character designed by Digimon Adventure character designer Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru. The staff are also teasing the appearance of an original Digimon with the silhouette below.
The most recent Digimon smartphone game, Digimon Links, launched in Japan in March 2016 and in English in October.
