Tada Never Falls in Love Anime Casts Takahiro Sakurai

The official website for the Tada Never Falls in Love (Tada-kun wa Koi o Shinai) anime revealed on Friday that Takahiro Sakurai (Sagrada Reset's Masamune Urachi, Code Geass' Suzaku Kururugi, Infini-T Force's Jōji Minami) will play Charles de Loire.

Takahiro Sakurai as Charles de Loire, an attractive and tall second-year college student. He comes from a noble family in France. While attending college, he also works as a company president. He is good at all sports, has abilities in various languages, and has a kind and considerate personality. Essentially, he is a superman who everyone likes. He has been in contact with Teresa since they were children, and he is like an older brother to her.

The anime premiered on April 5, and it will have 12 episodes. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime for streaming and home video. The series is streaming on HIDIVE as a simulcast in North America, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, and Latin America.

In the anime's original story, Mitsuyoshi Tada, a boy who has never known love, is taking pictures of the cherry blossoms in full bloom when he meets Teresa Wagner, a transfer student from Luxembourg. Upon arriving in Japan, she got lost, separated from her travel companion. Mitsuyoshi helps her and brings her to his grandfather's coffee shop.

Many of the main staff members from Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun return for the anime. Mitsue Yamazaki (Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, Magic-kyun! Renaissance) is directing at Doga Kobo (Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru). Yoshiko Nakamura (Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, Super Lovers) is in charge of the series scripts, and Junichirō Taniguchi (Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru) is serving as character designer and chief animation director. Assistant director Yoshiyuki Fujiwara and sub character designer Ai Kikuchi are both veterans of New Game! and Engaged to the Unidentified.

Masayoshi Ōishi (Overlord, Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun) is performing opening theme song "Otomodachi Film" and Manaka Iwami is performing the ending theme song "Love Song" as her character Teresa Wagner.
