TV Tokyo Establishes License Business Division

New division will focus on increasing licensing revenue for streaming, foreign business
TV Tokyo is establishing a new license business division as part of a reorganization on June 27. The division will focus on managing the licenses of TV Tokyo properties, as well as increasing revenue from licensing, particularly revenues from streaming and foreign business.
The license business division will have three departments: content operations, anime, and international planning. Yukio Kawasaki, the current head of TV Tokyo's anime department, will head the new division, and will also be promoted to senior executive officer. TV Tokyo Communications president Yūichi Oshida will head the anime department.
