Peach-Pit Ends Nishina Tesura wa Mitsukaranai Manga on May 24

This year's 24th issue of Kodansha's Morning magazine revealed on Thursday that manga artist duo Peach-Pit will end Nishina Tesura wa Mitsukaranai (Tesura Nishina Can't Find It) — the "second season" of their Nishina Tesura manga series — in the magazine's next issue on May 24. The magazine does not specify if only the second season is ending or if the overall Nishina Tesura manga series is ending.
Peach-Pit (Rozen Maiden, Shugo Chara!, Zombie-Loan, DearS) launched the "first season," titled Nishina Tesura wa Suirishinai (Tesura Nishina Isn't Reasoning), in Morning in June 2017. The magazine announced the series as a short serialization. The first season ended last August. The second season launched on March 29. Kodansha published the first season's one compiled book volume (seen right) last October.
The story begins with an image of a girl standing atop a bridge guardrail, but flashes back a few days before that, when a girl on a train accuses a salaryman named Shunta Momochi of molesting her. Another girl named Tesura Nishina raises her hand and comes to his defense, solving the incident before the girl and Shunta get off the train. Together, the "unreasoning" Tesura Nishina and Shunta "Momotarō" Momoichi, who just wants to be friends with a high school girl, will explore what Tesura calls "meaningless theories," her term for the mysteries of everyday life.
Peach-Pit launched their ongoing Rozen Maiden 0 manga series in Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine in February 2016. The original Rozen Maiden manga series ran from 2002 to 2007 in Gentosha's Monthly Comic Birz magazine and continued in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine from 2008 to 2014.
Peach-Pit ended their Wandering Wonder World manga series in January 2017. Kadokawa published the fourth and final compiled volume in March 2017.
Tokyopop published Peach-Pit's DearS and Rozen Maiden manga in North America. Del Rey and Kodansha published Shugo Chara! as well as Shugo Chara Chan! and Shugo Chara! Encore!, while Yen Press published their Zombie-Loan manga. All of these franchises inspired television anime.
Update: Kodansha is listing that the Nishina Tesura wa Mitsukaranai manga's one compiled volume will ship on July 23.
