Yakuza Studio's Fist of the North Star Game Heads West in October

Game to have dual audio, 'extra carnage'

Sega of America announced on Monday that it will release Yakuza Studios' Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken) PlayStation 4 game, Hokuto ga Gotoku, in North America and Europe under the title Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise. The game is slated for physical and digital release on October 2, and it will have both English and Japanese audio options.

Sega of America noted that the localized version will have everything that is in the Japanese version, "plus extra carnage."

A playable demo will be available at the Atlus and Sega booth at E3 in Los Angeles this week.

The game shipped in Japan on February 22.

Yakuza Studio developed the game in the vein of its Yakuza titles. The game takes place in the world of Fist of the North Star, and features a completely original story. The game has familiar characters from Fist of the North Star, as well as new characters that original manga artist Tetsuo Hara designed for the game. Takaya Kuroda, who plays Kazuma Kiryū in the Yakuza games, voiced Kenshirō in the Japanese version.
