Bloom Into You TV Anime Casts Yūki Takada, Minako Kotobuki

The August issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine revealed the two main cast members for the television anime adaptation of Nio Nakatani's Bloom Into You (Yagate Kimi ni Naru) yuri manga on Wednesday. In addition, the anime's official website began streaming a promotional video.

Yūki Takada (New Game!'s Aoba Suzukaze, Mitsuboshi Colors' Yui, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid's Elma) will voice Yuu Koito, while Minako Kotobuki (Sound! Euphonium's Asuka Tanaka, Aikatsu!'s Mizuki Kanzaki, K-ON!'s Tsumugi Kotobuki) will voice Touko Nanami.

The anime will premiere in October.

Makoto Katō (Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-) is directing the anime at TROYCA (Aldnoah.Zero, Re:CREATORS). Jukki Hanada (Sound! Euphonium, Love Live!, A Place Further Than the Universe) is supervising and writing the scripts. Hiroaki Gohda (Amagami SS, Love, Election and Chocolate) is designing the characters.

Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in North America, and it describes the manga:

Yuu has always loved shoujo manga and awaits the day she gets a love confession that sends her heart aflutter with bubbles and blushes, and yet when a junior high classmate confesses his feelings to her...she feels nothing. Disappointed and confused, Yuu enters high school still unsure how to respond. That's when Yuu sees the beautiful student council president Nanami turn down a suitor with such maturity that she's inspired to ask her for help. But when the next person to confess to Yuu is Nanami herself, has her shoujo romance finally begun?

Nakatani launched the manga in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh in April 2015. Kadokawa published the manga's fifth compiled book volume on January 26. Seven Seas Entertainment shipped the manga's fourth volume on February 13. As of February 6, the manga has 500,000 copies in print.
