Miyuki Sawashiro Takes Maternity Leave This Summer

Talent management agency Aoni Production announced on Thursday that voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro will take a hiatus this summer to take her maternity leave. Aoni Production noted that Sawashiro is aiming for an early return to work.
Sawashiro has starred in more than 100 anime, and perhaps her most notable recent role is the voice of the character Fujiko Mine in recent installments of the Lupin III franchise. She has also voiced characters in such anime as Di Gi Charat (Puchiko/Petit CHARAT), Galaxy Angel (Mint), Bakemonogatari (Suruga), Beelzebub (title character), Gosick (Cordelia Gallo), Kimi ni Todoke (Ayane Yano), Letter Bee (Lag Seeing), and Persona -trinity soul- (Jun Kanzato). Sawashiro also performed theme songs for Bakemonogatari, Di Gi Charat, Galaxy Angel, Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei, and other projects. She most recently starred in Kiss Him, Not Me (Shima Nishina), Occultic;Nine (Aria Kurenaino), Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale (Shino Asada/Shinon), Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul (Rita), Fate/Apocrypha (Mordred), No Game, No Life Zero (Izuna Hatsuse), and Maquia - When the Promised Flower Blooms (Rashine).
She announced in June 2014 that she had married a man outside of the industry.
She has a younger brother named Chiharu Sawashiro who debuted as a voice actor in 2014.
