New Promo Video for Thunderbolt Fantasy Puppet Show's 2nd Season Reveals October 1 Premiere

Good Smile Company began streaming the second promotional video on Sunday for Thunderbolt Fantasy: Tōriken Yūki 2, the second season of the Thunderbolt Fantasy puppet-show series. The video previews Takanori Nishikawa's opening theme song "His/Story." Nishikawa is collaborating with Hiroyuki Sawano on both the opening and ending theme songs. The ending theme song is titled "Roll The Dice."

The video reveals that the show will premiere on October 1. The show will air on Tokyo MX on Mondays at 10:00 p.m., on BS11 on Tuesdays at 12:30 a.m., and on Sun TV on Tuesdays at 1:30 a.m.

Good Smile Company also revealed the design and puppet design for Teikū.

The staff is returning from the first season.

Gen Urobuchi (Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero, Psycho-Pass, Aldnoah.Zero) was credited with the first season's original work, and he also wrote the scripts and served as chief supervisor. Nitroplus was credited with the character designs, and Good Smile Company was credited as the "modeling adviser." PILI Multimedia Inc., a well-known hand puppet drama production company in Taiwan, produced the series. Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan, Aldnoah.Zero, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) composed the music and Yoshikazu Iwanami was the sound director. T.M. Revolution performed the theme song "Raimei." The first season premiered in July 2016 and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.

The Thunderbolt Fantasy: The Sword of Life and Death film opened in Japan last December, and Crunchyroll began streaming the film in February.
