Atsushi Nakayama draws art for new manga about high school teacher who hates gambling

This year's 44th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine revealed on Wednesday that Kazutaka Kodaka and Atsushi Nakayama will launch a new manga titled Gambler's Parade in the magazine's next issue on October 10. The manga's first chapter will have 78 pages. The magazine hints that the plot will center on a high school teacher who hates gambling. Kodaka will write the manga, while Nakayama will draw the art.

Kodaka is perhaps most famous as the writer for Spike Chunsoft's Danganronpa adventure game series. The game series' latest installment, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, shipped last year. Kodaka also wrote and supervised the scenario for Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School: Future Arc and Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School: Despair Arc, the 2016 anime series that served as a conclusion to the first two games in the series.

Nakayama launched his Nejimaki Kagyū manga as a one-shot in Shueisha's Young Jump magazine in July 2010, before launching a full serialization in the magazine in February 2011. The manga ended in June 2014, and Shueisha published 16 volumes for the manga.
