Aniplus Asia's Kemono Friends 2 Simulcast Premieres on January 15

Aniplus-Asia announced on Sunday that the premiere date for its simulcast airing of Kemono Friends 2, the Kemono Friends anime's second season, is now scheduled for January 15 at 2:35 a.m. GMT +8. The show was originally slated to premiere on Sunday.
"Dōbutsu Biscuits x PPP," a group made up of eight voice actresses from the franchise, is performing the opening song "Notteke~ Japari Beat" (Get on Board! Japari Beat). Masayoshi Ōishi (Overlord, Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun opening songs) is writing the lyrics and composing the song.
The new season's story begins with Serval and Caracal finding a "human" child in the forest. As they travel with the child, they meet new Friends, uncover the secrets of Japari Park, and become involved in an event that will "shake the earth."
Ryuichi Kimura (Aikatsu!) is directing the anime at Tomason. Takuya Masumoto is writing and supervising the series' scripts. Hideo Taniguchi (Folktales from Japan) is the CG director. Nobuyuki Abe returns as the sound director. Yasuyuki Konno is credited for sound effects. Akiyuki Tateyama returns as the music composer. Shinnosuke Numata is credited as animation producer.
Aniplus-Asia aired the first season of the anime in July 2017.
